Happy New Year Friends and Family!

Happy New Year everyone!
Unfortunately, we didn't get any Christmas cards out this year, mostly because time flew but also, we realized how hard it is to get a picture of two happy kids together! We have enjoyed all your Christmas cards and wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you during this holiday season!
2009 has been a year of ups and downs and we are thankful it is ending on the upside for our whole family. We are grateful to God for all the miracles he has given us.
We welcomed our second son, Wyatt into our lives on Jan 27, 2009 and it’s amazing how fast his first year has flown by. He and Will have created a wonderful bond that we hope continues throughout their lives. We’ve also welcomed nieces Madelynn Gritzner (2/18/09), Caroline Schnaubelt (5/20/09) and nephew Max Schnaubelt (6/8/09).
We are excited for what 2010 brings to us and we hope 2010 is a great year for everyone. Happy New Year!
Sending our love to all of you,
Jeff, Kadi, Will and Wyatt Leiting

Christmas 2009

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Wyatt couldn't really anticipate Christmas, but he definitely recognizes Santa! Will was very excited about Christmas and all the festivities leading up to it.
One of our favorite things we did with the boys was the Christmas train in East Troy. It was a 45 min round trip ride with Santa, elves and rudolph. They sang Christmas carols, read "The Polar Express," and got to sit on Santa's lap and discuss Christmas wishes. Will's wishes this year were duplicates of his toys "for Wyatt" and a robot.
Christmas Eve was spent at The Leitings and the kids were spoiled rotten with their generosity. There was also a surprise visitor (Santa) who brought even more gifts!
Christmas Day was a lot of fun with the kids. Although we missed spending time with my brothers, Jeff and Tom and their families, it was relaxing to not have to be anywhere or do anything that day. We didn't have any plans to leave the house and the only person who got dressed all day was Wyatt! The fire was crackling and we enjoyed Christmas Eve leftovers for lunch and dinner = no cooking! YAY!

Summer Photos Part 2

Ok, so I wasn't so good about continuing to update! I never even finished our summer photos!

Well, now I've uploaded pics to photobucket (thanks for the advice brother Jeff!) so hopefully updating the blog with pics won't be so time consuming now! Here are some more pics from this past summer.

My favorite trip every year: Camping in Grand Haven, MI - this year with my part time schedule, I was able to stay for 2 weeks with the kids! A lot of work with a baby, but I had lots of help - thanks Family! Jeff stayed one week and then came back to pick us up after the second week. AND, we got to spend 2 WHOLE weeks with John and Noreen (from AZ), Wyatt's Godparents.

Summer 2009 - Part 1

Well, I’ve neglected the blog – I’m going to blame facebook since it is so much easier to update with pictures and catch up with everyone. Here's our summer update! I'm hoping to get back into blogging and not let it go so long.
It was a great summer since I was only working 3 days a week and had lots of time with the kids!
